For the JRC, the European Union Joint Research Centre in Ispra, a new open position in the Disaster Risk Management Unit and the Copernicus Emergency Management Service is available.
The following knowledge and skills and experiences are required:
- Python programming
- Extract, Transform, Load Data Pipelines
- Distributed messaging systems (Apache Kafka)
- API development
- Natural language processing
- Docker & containerization
- Basic GIS skills (advantage)
Highly motivated, experience and ability in working in an international/multicultural environment, and the ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings.
