For a research group in the JRC in Ispra (https://ec.europa.eu/jrc/en/about/jrc-site/ispra), a new open position as external consultant is available.
The ideal candidate has to support the scientific staff on the implementation of the new CAP (the EU Common agricultural policy) control methods.
Required Skills:

Python (numpy, pandas, scipy libraries)
- Geospatial data processing (GDAL, rasterio)
- PostgreSQL/PostGIS
- Use of Open-source GIS and image processing
- Linux deployment and management preferably in a cloud environment
- Geoserver
Highly motivated, experience and ability in working in an international/multicultural environment, and the ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings.
